Description:

This beautiful dragonfly was perched on the edge of a canna lily leaf in the gardens of Caiman house Guyana.

Habitat:

In the gardens of Caiman House Guyana, near a large lake.

Thanks for you help J, You're right it does look a similar shape and size so i will put it as Erythemis sp for now :)
Maybe a species of Erythemis? The northern Erythemis simplicicollis looks quite similar, but not exact. http://bugguide.net/node/view/343480
Does anyone have any ID suggestions for this spotting please?
