Beautiful but comical looking birds..made me smile
I love the hair style too. And, I am happy to know that this Cuckoos make their own nests :-) Here is from Wikipedia: "The nest is built on a tree fork 2 to 5 m (7-16ft) from the ground. The eggs (from 5 to 7) are dark green and covered with a chalky layer. They are incubated either in individual or community nests"!
These wonderful birds look like a punk rock band -- great spotting.
It's so cool to see them out in the wild. I especially like the 3rd pic.
