Thanks again for the information you provided. Yeah, I see where it's a rice pest. Plenty of rice grown here in the Philippines too. (-:
Thanks Bayucca for your ID.
Crambidae, Spilomelinae, Cnaphalocrocis poeyalis I would say... It is a pantropical species and maybe a rice pest. http://www.jpmoth.org/Crambidae/Pyraustinae/Cnaphalocrocis_poeyalis.html http://www.zimbabweflora.co.zw/speciesdata/insect-image.php?insect_id=401880&image_id=1 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cnaphalocrocis_poeyalis http://www.inaturalist.ca/taxa/196584-Cnaphalocrocis-poeyalis http://www1.ala.org.au/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=slideshow.Slideshow&g2_itemId=12174 http://inpn.mnhn.fr/espece/cd_nom/458138?lg=en http://nature.berkeley.edu/~oboyski67/Lepidoptera/LepDetail.pl?Name=Cnaphalocrocis%20poeyalis&Author=(Boisduval,%201833)&Tribe=Spilomelini&Subfamily=Pyraustinae&Family=Crambidae&Superfamily=Pyraloidea&Photo=images/Cnaphalocrocis_poeyalis.jpg http://www.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxbrowser_Taxonpage?taxid=20482
