auntnance123, I am not sure if that lichen, because there is no algae or other plants that grow around the fungus. please, cmiiw.
So, this is a lichen (i.e. neither plant, fungus, or the other)?
Hi Chief RedEarth, this fungi shape is thin and curved semi-circle, which is why it looks like there are cut off. :)
Thank you Chief RedEarth. :) Btw, sorry Chief RedEarth, can do you explain the purpose of the "cross section"? I can't understand.
