Field Notes

Description:

Small to medium sized butterfly with a wingspan of 2.5 - 3 inches in width. Black wings on top and bottom. Red dots and red body.

Habitat:

Captive butterfly in a new conservatory at The Fairchild Tropical Garden in Coral Gables.
