Field Notes

Description:

Flowerheads grow in clusters at tips of branched stems. Flowerheads are 1/2 to 3/4 inch in diameter and bloom from June to October. Stems are covered in spikes all along it's frame & Flower petals consist of purple to pink (sometimes white) coloring. Wipe out other plants as it grows along their native areas.

Habitat:

Native throughout Europe and Northern Asia.
