Field Notes

Description:

A smallish butterfly with powder blue on the upper wings. This one was mud-puddling in dirt wet from recent rain. They fly rapidly in zig-zag fashion, and flick their wings often when mud-puddling.

Habitat:

Seen along a dirt road bordering Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary

Notes:

.I have found 2 names for this butterfly, Dynamine Mylitta and Dynamine postvera. Not sure which one it is, or if the name is interchangeable...
