Crested Lark

Spotted this bird amongst the ruins at Palaepaphos, Cyprus.

A small bird about the size of a Song Thrush, with pale brown feathers, a pale underbelly and a lighter stripe across the eye, but also an interesting plume of feathers on the head. Very hard to spot against the landscape .
