Description:

Coccinellidae; Coccinellinae; Coccinellini; Coelophora inaequalis Fabricius, 1775. According to Wikipedia, this species gets its name from the fact that the black marks on the elytra "vary from one individual to another".

Habitat:

This Variable Ladybird was spotted in our backyard on String Beans (Vigna unguiculata) locally known as Sitaw. Plant information from - http://www.stuartxchange.org/Sitaw.html
