Field Notes

Description:

Strands of small egg shaped eggs covered by hairs.

Habitat:

Eggs found on window screen and siding.

Notes:

Those pictured were attached to siding and window trim on my house. I had cleaned the window screen and seen a number of these hairy strands. The bare strand has had the the hairs brushed off.
Published my spotting of this moth on Oct 23rd. This moth stayed in the same area for several days. Which is where these eggs were found. I will keep my eyes on them.

They look like Tolype eggs, because the picture in this link of Some sort of Tolype eggs, look just like the ones in your second picture. https://bugguide.net/node/view/260245/bgimage
These eggs were on the same screen that I spotted the Large Tolype Moth on Oct. 23. This moth stayed around this location for a couple of days. I looked at some pictures and now believe this moths laid these eggs.
