Field Notes

Description:

This specimen is about 1½" long, white with vertical brown and tan streaks. There are 5 whorls on a sturdy, slightly polished shell.

Habitat:

This was found on the ground in leaf litter. Its range appears to be mostly in Mexico and other Central America countries.

Notes:

Don't know if I have this ID correct, but it looks pretty close to me. I made the identification from a combination of comparing photos online with my photos, then checking distribution, but otherwise I could find little information about it.
