Field Notes

Description:

A large bumble bee, with yellow thorax, and upper abdomen. Head, middle ring and last abdomen ring are black. A round black patch mark the upper part of the thorax. Wings are blackish.

Habitat:

Spotted in suburban area, harvesting on sunflowers.
