Description:

There were tons of these on the air potatoes, and you can see how much they skeletonized the leaves in the last photo.

Habitat:

On air potato plants near a river in a shady oak forest - Hogtown Creek at Alfred Ring Park

Notes:

These were introduced to Florida in 2012 to eat the invasive air potatoes. They are not known to eat any other plants and cannot complete their life cycle without air potatoes.
