Description:

These guys are quite commonly found at the wetlands here. They're breeding at the moment which is a really great sign for the health of the wetlands around here.

Habitat:

Well-vegetated and slow-moving waters, incl swamps, marshes, estuaries, lakes, rivers and mangroves; also dams and sewage ponds.
