Description:

This plant has a red stem with drooping green/red leaves. Red in the leaves is in the middle along the veins of the leaf. I bought these seeds which claimed to be venus fly trap seeds but I don't think it looks like a venus fly trap. Someone please help what kind of plant is this?

Habitat:

I will be reporting this today into a bigger pot. Regular potting soil.

It's certainly not a venus fly trap. This is a type of Amaranth. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amaranth
