Field Notes

Description:

Dark gray bug with red "shoulders", eyes and abdomen. The wings are not fully developed (either nymph or brachypterous as suggested below) but when/if they are, they will/would look like my other spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/25513042

Habitat:

Sea Lavender at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park landscaping. It was photographed on a succulent.
