Description:

The organism is less than a centimeter, making it leech larvae. It is black and tiny, making it hardly visible. It is shaped like an oval and has two tails lining the side of the leeches body. It lives in water and under rocks. When it grows to full size, it will be about 1 inch long.

Habitat:

The Hog River, Hartford, CT
