Species ID Suggestions

Western Crowned Pigeon

Goura cristata

True, but the field marks really separate the two .
The location wasn't too important though, it looks like it was taken at a wildlife park in Jakarta.
All three Goura sp. crowned pigeons are endemic to New Guinea island and/or its close satellites. The western half of New Guinea is part of Indonesia.
Hello I am removing the duplicate species suggestion. If a species has already been suggested there is no need to suggest it again. Simply signal your agreement by clicking the +1 (or other +number). Thanks
Thankyou all...thank too for your ID...
Western Crowned Pigeon for sure. Look at the location. Victoria has a neat crown and solid back and reddish purple on chest. Plus they are from the New Guinea. the Western is from Indonesia and the crown is fluffier and the reddish-purple band goes to the back
It doesn't look dark enough to be a Victoria Crowned Pigeon. It looks more like a Western Crowned Pigeon.
