Description:

Ruffly orange fungus. It was the only one like it in the area

Habitat:

Shady oak forest - Hogtown Creek at Alfred Ring Park

Nice one, Machi. I think this is a Tremella species, maybe Tremella foliacea going by the color. Tremella species parasite on other fungi like Stereum species. Did you perhaps see shelf fungi on the same branch?
