Field Notes

Description:

15 mm I think brown with line pattern across the wings. Holds the wings open so the underwing is visible and the abdomen behind the thorax covered

Habitat:

This is one of those moths that flit through the long grass as someone walks through it

Notes:

It is kinda exciting to get the identifications of these isn't it!

We had plagues of these last year. Stylish looking moth and from memory there's a few different species with the same stylish design. Leuba is digging it out now... :)
