Field Notes

Description:

31-35cm. Brownish grey bronzewing with fine upright crest. Flys with distinct whistle of wings.

Notes:

We have always called them squeaky winged pigeons.

I have moved to your Flora and Fauna of NSW, Alice. I don't know why the colour would be different.
I have a crested pigeon spotting however mine appear to be a slightly different colour which is unusual, i wonder why? http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8842775
