Description:

Bengal Pogostemon is a large herb which looks like a shrub 1-2 m tall. Stem and branches are quadrangular, purplish and shining. The whole plant has a strong odour.

Pogostemon benghalensis has been used traditionally as anticancer in India.

Notes:

This abundantly growing plant's flowers resemble Holy basil flower, leaves deltoid and the stem is wine colored and resemble Siam weed.
