Description:
They are basically a small white Cockatoo which can be also known as a Bare-eyed Cockatoo, Blood-stained Cockatoo, Short-billed Corella, Little Cockatoo and Blue-eyed Cockatoo.
Habitat:
They are prolific in the Riverina region of Southern Australia have become something of a pest throughout much of Australia, and can be destructive to the trees in which it perches, by chewing the bark off smaller twigs.
Notes:
These very noisy birds make a LOT of noise very early in the morning. These pictures were taken whilst camping on the banks of the Murray River in Corowa NSW Australia. As they flock in large numbers they are deafening as they screech their way off in search of food after roosting in trees overnight.
