Field Notes

Description:

Large, green tree frog with small white spots outlined by black on its back. Extensive webbing between its toes is thought to help it glide when moving down from the canopy.

Habitat:

Lowland rainforest

Notes:

Spotted a few individuals of this species around a pond at Guayacan Forest Reserve. It was my hope to see this species at the reserve and I wasn't disappointed.

Thanks a lot Mark! The white spots are just part of its normal pattern.
Great shots Dan. Do you know what those white spots were?
