Field Notes

Description:

I'm guessing a type of Jumper spider, perhaps a male Bold Jumper? Didn't sit long enough for me to get an aerial shot.

Habitat:

In the wood of Georgia, if it is a Bold Jumper they're pretty much all over N. America

Notes:

Sitting on the steering wheel of my Gator staring at me :)

Species ID Suggestions

Comments (1)

Without a shot from above, it's hard to tell which Phidippus it is. Likely either Phidippus audax or Phidippus regius, but difficult to separate from these photos. They are adorable, I always find jumping spiders on the steering wheel of my gator too :)
