Spotted this spider this afternoon, and as went I past it again it had caught its supper.

Euprsthenops spiders can build alarmingly big funnels, alarming because if one hasn't seen the occupant then ones imagination can run wild - I had a 10cm diameter funnel in my garden a while ago !! These spiders are also called nursery web spiders due to their reproductive behaviour
