Description:

Beautiful yet noisy tern. Fast flying and fast hunting. During breeding season their almost black bill turns orange with a dark tip. The large dark patch behind the eye and speckled head becomes a black cap. Tail is long and widely forked.

Habitat:

Can be found over many types of water from ocean, bays and lakes.
