Description:

about 5mm black and near white with strong black legs and very short carapace

Habitat:

On the bark of a gum tree

Notes:

Specialised ant predator. Identification by Ron Atkinson, Find a Spider website (see reference)

It was just a Fuji FinePix 5800, yours is probably better. There was a Fox macro extension giving a little more depth. I changed to another Fuji lately but there is no extension available. Seems to be almost as good though
Oh nice shot for a 3mm spider !! Now I want a better camera.
changed the id so it gave better definition of this spider's habit
