I found this one getting an early morning snack on roadside vegetation.

Habitat:

Spotted at the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge.

Thanks Tukup. That was my first spotting that day as I was driving into the wildlife refuge. I took that pic from my vehicle at about 75 ft away. I had just missed a chance at 2 roadrunners that came out in the open, but of course when I got my camera ready they ran for cover. The overall experience at this wildlife refuge was great.
