Field Notes

Description:

Measures 16.5 - 19 cm. It has reddish brown on the back and chest. It features a large white stripe on the sides of the head.

Habitat:

It is very common in open landscapes like fields, savannas, grasslands, agricultural areas as well and gallery forests. Live alone or in pairs, walking on the floor. Can be found in Brazil in the Amazon, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais and the Northeast.
