Field Notes

Description:

Another little dwarf gecko, similar to the yellow headed, but colours are more dull. The body is a mute blue and the head a pale yellow, and both the head and body have bold black stripes.

Habitat:

Seen in urban woodland in northern Tanzania, Tanga.

Notes:

I'm a little confused on the species of these, as many sites list the yellow headed and painted dwarf gecko as the same species. But the colour variation is quite distinct... Not sure.
