Description:

Stink bugs deposit their eggs on the underside of leaves. The eggs are usually white or green in colour. After hatching the nymphs usually stay gathered around the eggs as seen in the pic.

Habitat:

Seen at an evergreen forest situated near a river.

Right! I didn't realize these were the empty "shells", I thought they were still to hatch for some reason.

Since the eggs are already hatched I doubt if they will protect it?

Very interesting, looks like the "new-born" nymphs stick around to protect the eggs from potential predators.
