Field Notes

Description:

Typical S-shaped serpentine tracks left on wet mud.

Habitat:

Wet mud left behind after flood water drained on its own is good for studying tracks left behind by whatever crawled on it. I had no trouble identifying it as snake tracks. What snake species? Ah that is the question.
