Hi Mark, has there been a problem lately with filling the location box when uploading a spotting? I haven't been able to add any new spottings because of that.

I used to think there weren't many spiders at all in NZ but I've leaned otherwise over the past few years.. and it's amazing how many have come from here. A suggestion... it's best to leave scientific name blank unless you are absolutely sure. That way it pops up in the stream of unidentifieds and others will notice and offer comments. Identified spottings often get no further attention. If you have an ID in mind just put it in the notes. I'm pretty sure this is the same as ours. They change dramatically as they grow so any 2 specimens will nearly always look somewhat different.
