Description:
About 5" long. A lovely rusty head and body, bleeding into a rich peacock blue tail. No stripes.
Habitat:
SIlver Springs State Park Ranger Station; sandhill habitat.
Notes:
This little beauty has set up his/her territory right outside the entrance to the Ranger Station here at Silver Springs. We all see him/her skitter across the door mat. In this occasion, he/she decided to come IN for a visit. I quickly and gently caught him and (after snapping a photo) released him, admonishing him to not come back in. Not much food in there! :)
