Tiger Snakes are quite aggressive. My aunt's dog was bitten last week by one and didn't survive.

Thanks ausatravel. I'm lucky, I live in what's known as "an ecological transition zone in which many tropical species of plants and animals reach their southern limit, and many temperate species reach their northern limits" according to the Sunshine Coast Council Biodiversity Strategy. There is so much to see here! : )
