Description:
It is 29 cm long and weighs 160-215 g. Their plumage is brown with light chest, gray head with some metallic reflections neck and high back. It also has a bluish tinge around the eyes.
Habitat:
It is found throughout Brazil. For these photos, the bird was on the banks of rivers in a flooding area in the northern Pantanal.
