Field Notes

Description:

This one is green and partially made of dust bunnies

Habitat:

This guy entered my lounge, did battle with the dust bunnies beneath the sofa and then woke me by majestically diving off the wall onto my face while I was asleep. It has been raining and the apartment is with a few hundred metres off a swamp used to settle end products of sewage and storm water

Notes:

It was cleaned up and hidden in a potted strawberry in the rain next door where it could decide its next move

Nice spotting and love your description and notes! :-)
When I stopped writhing and yelling it was a delightful surprise! I do not swat any more. It just makes spiders angry! Best move slowly when some unknown thing is wandering about on your face or leg
I'm sure that was a nice little surprise to wake up to :)
These are such little darlings Stephen. I'll bet you're pleased you didn't swat him! At my old job, whenever I'd do a lot of pruning, these little guys would just jump all over me, I was in heaven! :)
