Moth
26.49, 89.53
Field Notes
Description:
Orange with a circular pattern on the tips of the wings. The wings are held at an odd angle...the moth reminds me of a bat...I don't know why. But it does. The leg seems to be white.
Habitat:
Suntaley khola is a remote village in West Bengal, India with the River Moorti flowing by it. There is only one narrow motorable road that ends by the river. The moths are drawn to the porch light and alight on the walls near the light. These can often be seen sitting there the next morning.
