Description:

Membracidae; Centrotinae; Leptocentrini; Leptocentrus taurus Fabricius, 1775. This Horned Treehopper is generally distributed and occurs on many trees and plants, but not in sufficient numbers to be considered a serious pest. Its presence in the Philippines is confirmed by gbif.org.

Habitat:

This little Horned Treehopper was spotted, in our backyard vegetable plot, on Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.), known as Talong in the Philippines.
