Description:

Trifolium pignantii is a species of clover in the pea family Fabaceae, native to Albania, Bulgaria,; the former Yugoslavia, and Greece. A handsome perennial with creeping stems (15-45 cm) bearing large solitary globular heads of yellowish-white florets (2-3 cm), with stipules and trifoliate leaves directly beneath. Leaflets 1-3 cm, elliptic or obovate.

Habitat:

Mountain wood.
