Field Notes

Description:

A pair of Phasmids, not sure of what genus or species.
Small in size, Female is the bigger of the two (Pic#3), around 6 cm and Male is around 4.5cm, but as thin/scrawny like a needle.
All green in colour with small spots of light green/yellow on the body.
Both the Male and Female has small wings (Pic#6) and is not capable of flight.
Pic#1 & #3 shows the pair copulating. Pic#2 shows the end of abdomen of the Male with his sperm packet. Most Female Phasmids are able to store the sperm packet from the Male and use it to fertilise her eggs over a period of weeks or months, meaning she may only need to be paired once in her life.

Habitat:

They were found on a guava tree and feeding on guava leafs (Pics#4 & #5)
