Description:

Tiny terrestrial orchid, leaves appeared a few weeks ago, flowers 1.5 cm across, on 5cm stalks

Habitat:

In the leaf litter in dry sclerophyll (Red Box) forest.

Notes:

Appears annually in the same place. Flower lasts a few days to a week. Flower is thought to be fertilised by a small gnat.
