Field Notes

Description:

Some 30 to 40 cm tall and lone flowering stem, with a grape of terminal flowers (only one open at the time). Flower about 4cm in height, 3 in diameter.

Habitat:

Found on edges of predominantly coniferous forest (mainly spruce) on slopes of Jura mountain range.
