Description:

A White-breasted Nuthatch

Habitat:

On a large, feeder tree in our front yard. Near a frozen, fresh water lake (Lake Blanche) and within one city block of marsh, woods and farm field

Notes:

Comes heavily in the winter months for beef suet and black-oil sunflower seeds

outsidegirl0-thank you! Really? We have them here a lot, as well as back in the Twin Cities. They seem to really like both safflower and black-oil sunflower seed; they also visit the (beef) suet feeders a lot. Feed them and they'll come, perhaps? "-)
beautiful! we see them at are bird feeder some times but not aften.Its a treat when we do! ;)
