Field Notes

Description:

The cream wave is a moth of the family Geometridae. Across the forewings and hindwings, there are usually three pale jagged crosslines. The discal flecks are small and are very much blurred, sometimes missing, on the forewings. Therefore the species often looks almost pure white.

Habitat:

On a blueberry plant in the forest.

Notes:

Norwegian name: Blek urtemåler
