Field Notes

Description:

Green on upper half of body and brown to white underneath. Very small lizard, not much larger than a finger.

Habitat:

Many have been spotted in South Georgia but are available in the Carolinas. This one was spotted along the boardwalk of the swampy Carolina Bay called Grand Bay Wildlife Management Area, Valdosta, GA.
