Field Notes

Description:

Most of the ducks pictured are mallard ducks, but there are also other kinds. They were all together in a very large group.

Habitat:

These ducks were all at First Dam at the mouth of Logan Canyon. Most of them were standing together out of the water. Only a couple were swimming in the water.

Notes:

In these pictures, you can see both male and female mallard ducks. The males have green heads and more colors in them. The females are mostly brown with a little bit of blue in their wings.
