Description:

About 18mm long.

Habitat:

Attracted inside at night by lights.

Notes:

Very similar but different to 2 others recently. http://bie.ala.org.au/species/Anestia+ombrophanes

You're right SS. That circular dark spot is key apparently. Thanks.
I think this Oceophoridae too, but I have yet to find a species: http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/oeco/oeco-moths.html Anestia ombrophanes is very similar, though none of the dots touch, and there are more than one dot, and here, I only see one dot that is connected to a band.
Thanks for that Stephen. I've been thinking Oecophoridae, banded concealer moths. Hadn't considered Arctiidae. 8-/ (more headache material :)
