Description:
This attractive green moth had a wing span of about 30 mm. Patterns on wings are complex with a thin dark line dipping into the submarginal area. There are four deep reddish brown patches in each fore wing - two near the middle, one along the costa and one near the wing tips.
Habitat:
Spotted under bright lights on a warm night. These moths are said to occur along the east coast of Queensland and New South Wales to the Victorian Border.
Notes:
Also known as Tea-tree Emerald, the larvae feed on various plants of the Myrtaceae family including Leptospermum polygalifolium and Melaleuca decussata. <br>
